“Secular Shrine Theory” - my new show opens next Tuesday as part of Irish Design Week, at The Space Between - 6.30pm – 10pm.

I’m also giving a talk next Thursday evening about the inspiration and process behind work.

The work is a manifesto on Secular Shrines; and the application of these explorations to conceptual objects, abstract forms, spaces and structures.

It’s a departure from the linear and geometric, to something fluid, organic and free. A personal permission to allow true expression to flow, and the rejection of control and restrictions in favour of self-expression and a deeper connection to self.

The manifesto is the first output of a broader body of work. It outlines design guidelines on secular shrine theory. These are drawn from my travels and experiences, and applied to my sculptures and
