JRD X Drop Everything for Galway 2020

JRD is collaborating with Drop Everything to design an off-grid, temporary, movable studio space for artists in residence – Studio Drop will explore possibilities of affordable, sustainable and DIY design and building. Initial inspiration has been drawn from deployable living spaces in hostile environments, as well as native coastal forms such as beehive huts, beacons, martello towers, beach shelters and lighthouses. The project launches as part of Galway 2020 in March 2021 on Inis Oírr, watch this space for work in progress and updates along the way!
